26 August: Women's Equality Day

  August'26, widely celebrated as the Women's Equality Day globally, marking the step ahead to social equality of all men and women for the right to vote in the United States. But here's something more to do with equality and the history of this day.   History On this day the Nineteenth Amendment was passed by the United States of America which allowed women the right to cast their votes. This quoted that, "The  right of citizens of United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex. Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation" . The amendment was passed on 4th June'1919 and later on 18th August'1920, it was corroborated. However, this didn't mark enough to celebrate women's contribution to society.
